Ingredients
- 500 g heavy cream (35% fat)
- 750 g strawberries
- 1 container yogurt (200 g)
- 8 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- Select ripe, firm, and bright red strawberries.
- Beat the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks.
- Puree the strawberries in a blender until smooth.
- Dissolve the sugar in the strawberry puree.
- Fold the yogurt and strawberry mixture into the whipped cream using a spatula until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn until frozen, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
If you don’t have an ice cream maker:
- Beat the mixture with a hand mixer and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Repeat the mixing and freezing process 3-4 times to ensure a smooth texture.
For added flavor, you can mix in:
- 2 tbsp finely chopped mint or
- 1/2 tsp ground spices (such as star anise, nutmeg, or a bit of ginger).
