Prep. Time 10′ Baking Time 10′ Serves 30
Ingredients
- 180 grams butter
- 150 grams sugar
- 1 egg
- 225 grams all-purpose flour
- 30 grams cocoa powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 150 grams chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder.
- In a bowl or mixer, beat the butter with the sugar until the mixture becomes creamy and the sugar dissolves.
- Add the egg and whisk or mix until absorbed.
- Gradually add the sifted dry ingredients, gently folding the mixture with a spatula or by hand.
- Finally, add the chocolate chips and gently fold to incorporate.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C or a convection over to 160°C.
- Using a teaspoon, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking sheet, leaving enough space in between as they spread during baking.
- Gently flatten the cookies with the back of the spoon.
- Bake for about 12 minutes. When removed from the oven, they should be slightly soft, just set.
- Allow them to stand for 10 minutes on the baking sheet to prevent them from falling apart, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy!
