Ingredients
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, gouda, whatever you like)
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked
- 600g minced beef
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- Salt
- Pepper
- Onion slices
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
Instructions
- Divide the minced beef into 4 portions and form 4 burgers.
- Season with salt and pepper just before grilling.
- Place the burgers on the oven grill. Put a tray underneath to catch all the drippings.
- Grill for 5-7 minutes on each side, depending on your desired doneness.
- The longer they grill, the drier they become. The ideal grilling is when the juices run clear.
- Place a slice of cheese on each burger.
- Grill for 1 minute until the cheese starts to melt.
- Split the buns in half and add your desired toppings (ketchup, lettuce, onion etc.) along with your beef with melted cheese and the bacon.
