Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 200 g sugar
  • 250 ml milk
  • 250 ml cold heavy cream (35% fat)

Instructions:

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them into chunks.
  2. Blend them in a blender with the lemon juice and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the milk and blend again.
  4. Pour the mixture into a bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
  5. Before sealing the wrap, press down to remove as much air as possible to prevent the banana from oxidizing.
  6. Place the mixture in the refrigerator and chill for 1 hour.
  7. After it has chilled, gradually add the cold heavy cream, stirring well with a whisk until fully combined.
  8. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn for about 20 minutes until it reaches the consistency of thick cream.
  9. Transfer the ice cream to a chilled container and store it in the freezer.
  10. If you have ice cream molds, you can make individual ice cream bars.
  11. Once frozen, dip the bars in melted chocolate and enjoy immediately.

Enjoy!
