Ingredients
- 400g asparagus
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- Salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley (or dill)
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- The asparagus should be cleaned from its fibers and ends. If the asparagus are small, leave them whole, but , cut them into pieces if they are on the larger side.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium to high heat and add the olive oil.
- Add the butter and once melted, sauté the crushed garlic for 1 minute before removing it.
- Add the asparagus.
- Season with salt and grind plenty of pepper.
- Sauté, stirring regularly for about 5 minutes until they soften and roast, but do not melt. It does not need to take a lot of color. The time needed always depends on their size.
- Remove the pan from the heat and as the asparagus are still warm, add the Parmesan cheese and stir a little until it starts to melt.
- Add the herbs and serve.
