Everything you’ll need to make these Superfood Crackers:

  • ½ cup raw flax seeds
  • ½ cup chia seeds
  • ½ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ½ cup sesame seeds and black sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup quinoa
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • 1 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Preheat the convection oven to 160°C. Bake on the middle rack.
  3. Put 2 tablespoons of flax seeds into a blender and grind them as finely as possible.
  4. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients: ground and whole flax seeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame and black sesame seeds, quinoa, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Pour 1 cup of water over the mixture.
  6. Stir with a spoon and let the cracker mixture sit for at least 20 minutes.
  7. After 20 minutes, the mixture will become sticky.
  8. Spread the mixture onto the baking tray, smoothing it into a thin layer.
  9. Bake the crackers for 20 minutes.
  10. While the mixture is still soft, remove it from the oven and score the crackers into the desired pieces, large or small.
  11. Flip the crackers on the tray and continue baking for an additional 20 minutes or until they are fully dry and lightly golden.
  12. Let the superfood crackers cool completely and store them in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Enjoy!
