Everything you’ll need to make these Superfood Crackers:
- ½ cup raw flax seeds
- ½ cup chia seeds
- ½ cup pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup sesame seeds and black sesame seeds
- ¼ cup quinoa
- A pinch of sea salt
- 1 cup water
Instructions:
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Preheat the convection oven to 160°C. Bake on the middle rack.
- Put 2 tablespoons of flax seeds into a blender and grind them as finely as possible.
- In a bowl, combine all the ingredients: ground and whole flax seeds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame and black sesame seeds, quinoa, and a pinch of salt.
- Pour 1 cup of water over the mixture.
- Stir with a spoon and let the cracker mixture sit for at least 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, the mixture will become sticky.
- Spread the mixture onto the baking tray, smoothing it into a thin layer.
- Bake the crackers for 20 minutes.
- While the mixture is still soft, remove it from the oven and score the crackers into the desired pieces, large or small.
- Flip the crackers on the tray and continue baking for an additional 20 minutes or until they are fully dry and lightly golden.
- Let the superfood crackers cool completely and store them in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
