Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh milk
  • 3 containers strained yogurt
  • 1 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Boil the milk in a saucepan.
  2. Add the honey and stir until well combined.
  3. Let the mixture cool.
  4. In a bowl, gradually add the milk to the yogurt, stirring with a whisk until the yogurt is fully dissolved.
  5. Place the bowl with the mixture in the freezer until it starts to firm up.
  6. Once it begins to solidify, beat it again with a hand mixer to aerate and break up any ice crystals that have formed.
  7. Return the mixture to the freezer.
  8. Ideally, repeat the mixing and freezing process 3-4 more times to achieve a creamy texture.
  9. On the final mixing, you can add chocolate, nuts, or leave it as plain yogurt ice cream.
  10. Freeze the mixture one last time until fully set before serving.
