Ingredients
- 2 burger buns
- 1 small onion
- 2 pickled cucumbers and a little brine from the jar
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp dill
- 2-3 drops Tabasco
- A few drops of lemon juice
- A few leaves of iceberg lettuce
- 2 cod fillets
Instructions:
- Slice the onion into thin rings.
- In a bowl, combine the onion, sliced pickled cucumbers, and the brine from the pickles. Mix them together and set aside to marinate the onions.
- In another bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Tabasco, lemon juice, dill, and a pinch of salt.
- Shred the iceberg lettuce.
- Split the burger buns in half.
- Spread mayonnaise inside the buns.
- Place the shredded iceberg lettuce inside, top with the fried fish fillet, and then add the marinated onions and pickles on top.
- Cover with the other half of the bun.
- Repeat for the second burger.
- Serve with potato chips and lemon wedges.
