Everything you’ll need to make Fig Ice Cream
- 150g dried figs
- 150g anthotyro cream cheese
- 1 tbsp orange liqueur
- 2 tbsp thyme honey
- 400 ml milk
For Serving:
- Honey
- Fresh figs (optional, if in season)
Instructions:
- In a food processor, finely chop the dried figs.
- Add the anthotyro cheese, orange liqueur, and honey to the chopped figs. Blend until smooth.
- Pour in the milk and continue blending until all the ingredients are well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to the machine’s instructions. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can freeze the mixture, stirring occasionally until it reaches the desired consistency.
- Serve the fig ice cream with a drizzle of honey and fresh figs if they are in season.
