Ingredients

  • 4 cups pasta
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ onion, finely chopped
  • 4 slices cooked ham, finely chopped
  • 2 cups pureed tomato
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 package light cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped basil
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • Grated kefalotyri cheese, to serve
  • Basil leaves, to serve

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pot and sauté the onion.
  3. Add the paprika, ham, and tomato. Simmer for 5-6 minutes.
  4. Finally, add the cream cheese and stir.
  5. Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce.
  6. Add salt, pepper, and basil.
  7. Simmer for 1 minute.
  8. Serve with grated cheese.
