Ingredients
- 4 cups pasta
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ½ onion, finely chopped
- 4 slices cooked ham, finely chopped
- 2 cups pureed tomato
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 package light cream cheese
- 1 tbsp finely chopped basil
- Salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- Grated kefalotyri cheese, to serve
- Basil leaves, to serve
Instructions
- Boil the pasta in salted water.
- Heat the olive oil in a pot and sauté the onion.
- Add the paprika, ham, and tomato. Simmer for 5-6 minutes.
- Finally, add the cream cheese and stir.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce.
- Add salt, pepper, and basil.
- Simmer for 1 minute.
- Serve with grated cheese.
