Everything you’ll need to make these crispy chicken drumsticks
- 12 chicken drumsticks
- 1 container yogurt (200 g)
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 2 pinches nutmeg
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter, divided into small pieces
Instructions:
- Place the chicken drumsticks in a heatproof dish.
- Add the yogurt and mix well, ensuring the drumsticks are fully coated.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4 to 24 hours for best flavor.
- In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Take each marinated drumstick and roll it in the breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated.
- Place the coated drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Place a small piece of butter on top of each drumstick.
- At this stage, you can cover the tray and refrigerate it if preparing in advance.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
- Bake the drumsticks for 45 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 75°C (165°F) for safe consumption.
- Let the drumsticks cool slightly and serve hot with your favorite side dishes like roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
