As the Ukraine war rages, Ukraine’s former military commander in chief, Valery Zaluzhny, who is currently serving as the Ambassador to Britain, issued a bleak warning that World War 3 had already begun after the direct involvement of Russia’s allies in the conflict in the war in Ukraine.

During a speech at an award ceremony of Ukrainska Pravda UP100, Zaluzhny stated, “Because, in 2024, Ukraine is no longer facing Russia. Soldiers from North Korea are standing in front of Ukraine. Let’s be honest. Already in Ukraine, the Iranian ‘Shahedis’ are killing civilians absolutely openly, without any shame.”

The former Commander in Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said North Korean soldiers were active in the fight while China was sending weapons into the theater of war.

The dire warning came in light of the recent escalation precipitated by outgoing US President Joe Biden’s decision to green-light the use of US-made long-range ATACMS missiles deep into Russian territory.
Following the approval of the use of ATACMS missiles, a barrage of six US missiles and twelve UK-made storm shadow missiles were lobbed into Russian territory.

Reports suggest the British missiles damaged a military command center in the Kursk region in eastern Russia, where Ukrainian forces have established after an incursion in August, killing Russian officers and soldiers.

In response to the attacks, Russia fired a new medium-range, hypersonic ballistic missile known as “Oreshnik,” reportedly destroying a Ukrainian missile production factory in Dnipro, central Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a televised address, warned that more could follow. He said civilians would be warned ahead of further strikes with such weapons and that Russia would mirror any missile attacks from Ukraine and its allies.
