Travelers visiting Greece can now download “mAiGreece”, a new AI-powered app offering useful travel and a safety information in 31 languages.
Users have access to regularly updated information on Blue Flag beaches, frequently asked questions about Greece, museums and travel content from Visit Greece as well as info about hospitals and health centers, embassies and consulates of foreign countries in Greece, and police departments.
The personalized travel assistant is available for both Android and iPhone users and can be downloaded here.
Users can create a profile and select wider categories of interest such as nature, activities, and culture, and subcategories which include things like beaches, archaeological sites, museums, and cycling, among others.
The “mAiGreece” app supports text input or speech-to-text input in 31 languages, including English, Bulgarian, French, German, Danish, Greek, Estonian, Irish, Spanish, Italian, Croatian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Dutch, Hungarian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Swedish, Czech, Finnish, Albanian, as well as Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Hebrew, Arabic, and Korean.
Additionally, it also features a direct link to the 112 emergency service, enabling users to send an SMS with their geographical location to the Civil Protection Ministry operations center and also provides guidance in emergencies such as loss of passport or wallet.
