Greece Honored Country at World Travel Market (WTM) 2024

Greece held a prominent position within the exhibition space, with its main entrance adorned digitally in Greek colors.

Greek tourism was the focus of the major international tourism exhibition World Travel Market (WTM) 2024 held in London from November 5 to 7, as the country was honored at the event.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the Minister of Tourism, Olga Kefalogianni, and the Secretary General of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), Andreas Fiorentinos. Greece held a prominent position within the exhibition space, with its main entrance adorned digitally in Greek colors.

In addition to signing a memorandum of cooperation with EasyJet and EasyJet Holidays, the Minister of Tourism and the GNTO Secretary General conducted meetings with executives from various airlines and travel operators, including British Airways, British Airways Holidays, Jet2, Jet2 Holidays, TUI, and Expedia, among others.

Fiorentinos also engaged with representatives of major international media outlets such as Euronews, Warner Bros Discovery Group, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. He gave interviews to the international network NBCU, which reaches an audience of 273 million viewers, and to British trade publications Travel Weekly and TTG.
