Greece’s Supreme Court has released a series of statements this past week hitting back at accusations of bias, cover-up and improper procedures in regards to the Tempi train disaster investigation.

The development comes after high-profile assertions by victims’ relatives, their legal counsels and media reports citing the prospect of toxic materials or fuel accelerants causing a large explosion immediately after the collision on the evening of Feb. 28, 2023
