Better protection and monitoring of products with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), Protected Geographical Indications (PGI) and Traditional Specialty Guaranteed (TSG) status is the goal

Furthermore the minister added “Today's development clearly demonstrates the importance of the composition of the European Parliament."
