Police will enforce a series of traffic modifications, Wednesday, May 29th, starting from 5 in the evening before the match between Olympiacos Piraeus and Fiorentina in the UEFA Conference League final to be held at the AEK Athens OPAP Arena.
These modifications will affect the routes of fixed-track transport to alleviate traffic pressure before and after the match.
Starting at 5 pm local time, the trains will be exclusively used for the fans headed to the football venue. All the passengers will disembark at Perissos Metro station from where they will be escorted by police to OPAP Arena.
Last Train Departures:
– From terminal stations “Kifisia” and “Piraeus” at 5 pm.
– From “Monastiraki” towards “Kifisia” at 5:16, 5:30 pm and towards “Piraeus” at 5:34 pm, 5:30 pm.
– From “Attiki” towards “Kifisia” at 5:24 pm and towards “Piraeus” at 5:27 pm.
– From “Omonia” towards “Kifisia” at 5:19 pm and towards “Piraeus” at 5:32 pm.
Tram Modifications:
Tram routes will also be modified, terminating at the “Neo Faliro” stop. In contrast, Metro lines 2 and 3 will operate normally.
For Tram Line 7 “Kalamaki – Ag. Triada Piraeus,” starting from 11:00 in the morning and until further notice, the terminal station will be “Neo Faliro,” with services running between “Kalamaki – Neo Faliro – Kalamaki.”
