Theodoros Tselidis picked up the first medal for Greece on Tuesday at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games by winning the bronze medal in the men’s 90-kg judo competition.
The last time a judoka representing Greece won a medal at an Olympic Games was in London 2012, when Ilias Iliadis also picked up a bronze medal in his weight category.

Greek rowers are next up in the competition, while the men’s basketball team has a very slim chance of advancing to the next round if the squad beats a strong Australia side.
