An estimated seven thousand traveling PAOK FC fans will try to push the Thessaloniki team over the line and turn around a one-goal deficit in their match against Romania’s FCSB, formerly referred to as FC Steaua București, in Bucharest today (19.45 Greek time) in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League competition.
The Greek team lost the first leg at home a week ago in Thessaloniki (2-1) at the Tumba stadium.
In the first match in Greece, the Romanian team took advantage of a ten-man Greek side after PAOK’s Brazilian winger Taison was sent off seconds before the teams went to the dressing rooms following a second yellow card booking.
Later tonight (22.00 Greek time), Panathinaikos FC, also trailing by a goal to Iceland’s Víkingur Reykjavík (2-1 first leg) in the UEFA Conference League, will host the Icelandic side at the OAKA stadium in Athens.
