Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas continued his ‘march’ in the 2023 ATP Paris Masters, as he put on another dominant display against Karen Khachanov in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
With the exception of a slight drop in his rhythm in the middle of the second set, Tsitsipas comfortably dispensed with the 15th-ranked Russian in 80 minutes in 2 sets (6-3, 6-4), securing a berth in the ATP 1000 tournament’s semi-final where he will come up against Grigor Dimitrov.
Tsitsipas had better serving percentages (74% of points won on the first serve, 50% on the second) and 22 winners with 14 unforced, compared to 12 winners and 18 unforced of his opponent.
Tsitsipas is among the eight players who will travel to the Italian city of Turin in the north for the last major event of the year, the ATP Finals, before the Australian Open in 2024.
