Stefanos Tsitsipas appears to have found his “mojo” after the world no. 8 in the ATP rankings changed his racket. The Greek tennis star has been playing consistent tennis over the past month and appears laser-focused on the court and ready to up his level in his quest to conquer a grand slam. The 26-year-old star is close to reaching a deal with the former coach of Serbian Novak Djokovic, Goran Ivanisevic.

According to reports in Greek sports sites, Tsitsipas has reportedly decided to bring the Croatian on his coaching staff after the French Open.

Ivanisevic, a former elite player best known for his dominance on grass, famously won Wimbledon in 2001 and reached as high as No. 2 in the ATP rankings. He began his coaching career with fellow Croatian Marin Cilic, guiding him from 2013 to 2016 and helping him secure his first—and only—Grand Slam title at the US Open in 2014.

He has coached arguably the greatest player of all time, Novak Djokovic. His partnership with the Serbian champion spanned five years (2019–2024), during which they celebrated nine Grand Slam titles and numerous records.

Tsitsipas and Ivanisevic are expected to officially begin their collaboration after the conclusion of Roland Garros, with the Greek star aiming to return to the top of the sport and make a deep run at Wimbledon—something he has yet to achieve, despite his clear potential and credentials on the surface.

For now, Stefanos Tsitsipas remains focused on Monte Carlo, where he is set to play in the quarterfinals against Lorenzo Musetti.
