NBA superstar Kyrie Irving was spotted at a well-known restaurant in the town of Chania, Crete where the 2024 NBA finalist is enjoying his summer holidays with his family and parents.

The 32-year-old 8-time All-Star point guard, recovering from recent surgery on his left hand, was more than pleased with the service and the Cretan delicacies at the eatery as he tipped a whopping 500 euros to the staff.

In a video posted online, the player can be seen smiling with the staff while taking selfies.

Irving has a long list of accomplishments in his illustrious career as he boasts an NBA ring in 2016 with the Cleveland Cavaliers, while he has also won an Olympic gold with Team USA in the same year and a World Cup title in 2014.

The 2012 rookie of the year has often drawn media attention in the US for his uncompromising stance and opinions on controversial issues like his vociferous opposition to the COVID-19 vaccine that resulted in him receiving huge fines and his ultimate release from the Brooklyn Nets.

Kyrie Irving came close to winning a second NBA ring last year alongside Slovenian “wizard” Luca Doncic at the Dallas Mavericks but lost to his former club the Boston Celtics.
