The 25-year-old, whose market value has skyrocketed to €25 million, according to online site Tranfermarkt is experiencing the most prolific-scoring season of his career, leading Alkmaar to 4th spot in the domestic Eredivisie table.
His form has reportedly caught the eye of many clubs across the continent with a move to one of the top five European leagues seeming all but certain.
