The Greek men’s national basketball team beat Croatia in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament (OQT) final in Piraeus (80-69) on Sunday night securing a spot in the Paris basketball Olympics tournament.

Croatia had beat the Dominican Republic 80-77 in a brutal contest that came down to the final play of the game, while Greece secured a comfortable victory over Luka Doncic’s Slovenia 96-68 on Saturday (6 July) afternoon with Thomas Walkup being the leading scorer with 19 points.
