Greece’s President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, congratulated Olympiacos FC in a post on X, referring to a “historic night for the Piraeus team and Greek football”.

Premier League club Nottingham Forest FC also extended its congratulations in a similar post on X.
