It is no secret that NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo has grown to love the community in Milwaukee and regularly shows his support to the ordinary folks, always giving back in a meaningful and practical way.
This sentiment shone through once again as the “Greek Freak” showed his love of Milwaukee by donating one million dollars to ten non-profit organizations through the Charles Antetokounmpo Family Foundation and the GE HealthCare program.
The Milwaukee Bucks leader, who brought an NBA title to the team after 1969 and has won 2 MVP awards along with 8 All-Star NBA appearances, wanted to help people with basic needs such as food, housing, and education.
Antetokounmpo recently revealed that if the Bucks failed to win the championship with Damian Lillard by his side this year, a trade from the Milwaukee team was not out of the question.
“Yes, if we don’t win the championship, they might trade me. That’s the business we’re in. That’s the world we live in. It’s like that for everyone. At any given moment, if you don’t succeed, it could be the end for us… If you don’t do a good enough job, you’re out,” Giannis pointed out.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been at the Bucks for 11 years and extended his contract with the team after winning the NBA title, a move many fans saw as proof of his loyalty to the franchise.
