The temperature will range from 23-33°C, with northerly winds at 3-5 Beaufort, reaching 6 Beaufort temporarily at midday in the eastern parts.

In Thessaloniki, there will be sunshine with intermittently increased clouds. In the afternoon, local showers and rain are expected in the surrounding mountainous areas. The temperature will range from 23-32°C, with light northerly winds at 2-3 Beaufort.

The Week Ahead

The first week of September will have more summery conditions. On Monday, the weather will generally be clear, with temporary clouds. In the afternoon and evening, instability will remain, but to a lesser degree, with showers in the mainland mountains during midday and afternoon hours. The temperature will rise further at midday, ranging around 32-35°C. Winds will be westerly and northerly at 2-4, and up to 5 Beaufort in the Dodecanese.

On Tuesday, although the day will start with plenty of sunshine, it will gradually become cloudy, and by midday, local showers will develop in the central and southern mainland and thunderstorms in the corresponding mountainous areas, with improvement by the evening. The temperature will range around 33-36°C in the mainland and up to 32°C in the Aegean. Northerly winds will blow at 3-4, and 5-6 Beaufort in the eastern Aegean.
