Today’s forecast for the weather in Greece foresees generally favorable conditions throughout the country.
The day will start with clear skies and sunshine, with local clouds only expected in the Ionian Sea from the morning, which will gradually thicken and lead to scattered light showers by midday.
The Aegean islands will enjoy sunny weather all day. In mainland Greece, a few local clouds are expected in the afternoon, particularly increasing in the western regions, Epirus, and western Central Greece.
Temperatures will remain at the same levels as the past few days, reaching 33°C in western Greece, 34°C in the north of the country, and up to 35°C in central Greece. In the Aegean, it will be a bit cooler, with maximum temperatures ranging between 30°C and 33°C.
In Athens, clear skies are expected with scattered clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures will range from 22°C to 34°C, with variable winds in the Saronic Gulf and northerly winds in the gulf of Evia at 3-4 Beaufort.
Thessaloniki will experience clear weather with temporary clouds in the surrounding mountains at midday, that will eventually bring showers and rain. Temperatures will range from 22°C to 33°C, with mild southerly winds over the Thermaikos Gulf, ranging between 2-4 Beaufort.
