Fall has started settling in it seems, as the weather in Greece on Saturday will be rainy across most of the country, at least until midday.

Unsettled weather will affect the Ionian islands as well, with moderate rainfall expected until the afternoon. In the rest of the mainland, bar eastern Macedonia and Thrace, local showers are expected around noon and in the afternoon, but the skies are expected to clear up a bit in the afternoon.

A similar weather pattern is expected in the Cyclades and Crete, with a chance of light showers midday.

Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-to-high 20s, locally reaching 28°C in the west of the country and up to 29°C in the Aegean.

Winds will blow from the north in the islands, not exceeding 3-4 Beaufort in the Ionian, but strengthening to 4-6, even 7, Beaufort in the Aegean.

In Attica, sunny weather is expected in the morning, cloudiness and and local showers are expected as the day progresses. Temperatures will range from 20-27°C, with winds blowing north at 4-5 Beaufort, up to 6 Beaufort in the east.

In Thessaloniki, rain and thunderstorms are expected from the early morning until midday, but improvements are anticipated in the afternoon. Temperatures will range from 18-25°C, with north winds blowing at 3-4 Beaufort.
