Don’t be fooled by the sun when you wake up- today you will need to pack your umbrella. While the day will start off sunny in most parts of Greece, clouds will gather and turn to rain in the Epirus region, western Sterea Ellada, the Ionian islands, Macedonia and Thrace.
The exceptions are Rhodes and Kastellorizo, which will start off stormy but then turn clear. As for the rest of the country, any foul weather should dissipate by the evening.
Temperatures will reach 27-28 degrees Celsius in the continental areas, and with temperatures climbing a bit higher to 29-30 degrees in the eastern continental areas. The maximum values in the Aegean will be around 24-27 degrees Celsius.
Winds in the northern Aegean will blow from various directions between 2-4 Beaufort, from the west in the Ionian and the west and north in the rest of the sea areas up to 5 Beaufort. The Dodecanese will have the strongest winds, up to 6 Beaufort.
Clear weather is expected in Attica, with sunshine in the basin and some thin clouds. The temperature will range from 16-28 degrees and the weak northerly winds will gradually turn to southerly 2-4 Beaufort.
In Thessaloniki, it will be sunny in the morning, while from midday it will be cloudy and local rains or showers are expected in the surrounding mountains. The temperature will range from 17-26 degrees and the southerly winds 3-5 Beaufort.
