The weather will continue to be a bit unsettled with clouds, rain, but also dust from the African Sahara Desert, which will blanket the skies with a yellow hue. Greece’s pine trees have begun pollinating in warmer areas, which leads to a yellow coating on most surfaces.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected in the Ionian Islands, Epirus, Thessaly, Peloponnese and Central Greece and clouds can be expected in most of the remaining areas.
Temperature will be warm, however, reaching around 24 degrees Celsius with winds blowing from the south between 4 – 8 Beaufort.
The Attica region will be cloudy, with a temperature between 10 – 20 degrees and winds ranging between 3 – 5 Beaufort, with particularly high amounts of African dust in the atmosphere.
Thessaloniki is forecast to be wet through most of the day, slightly cooler than Attica with temperatures ranging between 6 – 18 degrees and winds at 3 – 6 Beaufort.
