Those looking for a sunny long weekend will be disappointed as the weather in Greece will be rainy and cloudy for the next few days.
Eastern Macedonia and Thrace will be cloudy in the morning, while rain and thunderstorms are expected come the afternoon onwards. Clouds will hover over the rest of the country, growing denser on Crete as the day progresses, leading to local showers and thunderstorms, mainly in mountainous regions.
Visibility will also be locally limited during the morning and evening hours.
Winds will mainly blow west at 2 to 4 Beaufort.
Despite the gloomy weather, temperatures will remain similar, with daily highs of 16 to 17 degrees Celsius in the north and 18 to 19 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country.

Scattered clouds, gradually thickening, will hover over the Attica region with local showers and thunderstorms mainly in the mountains expected during the afternoon and evening. Variable winds will blow at 2 to 3 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from 9 to 19 degrees Celsius.
Similar phenomena are expected in Thessaloniki. South-southeast winds will blow at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from 08 to 17 degrees Celsius.
Macedonia and Thrace will initially be cloudy but should expect rain and thunderstorms as the day progresses. East-southeast winds will blow at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Temperature will range from 3 to 16-17 degrees Celsius.
Scattered clouds will hover over the Ionian, Epirus region, western Mainland and the western Peloponnese, gradually thickening towards the afternoon on, leading to local showers and thunderstorms mainly in mountainous areas. West-northwest winds will blow at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from 6 to 18 degrees Celsius. Inland areas of the Epirus region will be 3 to 4 degrees chillier.
Similar phenomena in the eastern Mainland, the Evia region and eastern Peloponnese. Variable winds will blow at 2 to 4 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from 8 to 19 degrees Celsius.
The Cyclades and Crete will be a bit cloudy early in the day, but will become cloudier as the day progresses. Local showers and thunderstorms anticipated mainly in the mountains of Crete. Northeast-northwest winds will blow at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Temperature will range from 12 to 19 degrees Celsius.
The Eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese will be a bit cloudy with a chance of local showers towards the evening in the north. North-northwest winds will blow at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from 12 to 19 degrees Celsius.
