The heat has arrived in Greece, and so has the African dust. Today, in Greece, we can expect high temperatures, some scattered clouds, and a heavy atmosphere in many regions of Greece due to the return of the African dust.
Today there will be clouds and long periods of sunshine in the Ionian and the western continental parts of the country, in the central-southern Peloponnese and the Aegean.
In Attica, a few thin clouds and long periods of sunshine are expected. The temperature will range from 21 to 35 degrees Celsius, while the winds will blow up to 3-4 Beaufort in the surrounding sea areas.
In Thessaloniki, sparse clouds and local showers are expected. The temperature will range from 20 to 32 degrees Celsius, while the winds will blow up to 3 Beaufort in the Thermaikos Gulf.
Looking again we see a slight drop in temperature Thursday-Saturday (30-34°C) with temperatures climbing sharply again on Sunday (38-39°).
