The weather in Greece today will be mostly sunny with a few clouds, growing denser in the western and northern mainland, and the Ionian during the afternoon, and local showers or isolated thunderstorms expected in the northwestern mountainous areas during midday. There is also chance of brief local showers in the Dodecanese in the afternoon. High northern winds will blow in the Aegean, while temperatures will slightly decrease in the east.

Temperatures will range from 21 to 37 degrees Celsius in Northern Greece (16 to 32 degrees in Western Macedonia), 23 to 32 degrees in Central and Southern Greece (up to 36 degrees in Thessaly), 21 to 37 degrees in Western Greece, 21 to 30 degrees in the Cyclades and Crete, and 24 to 35 degrees in the islands of the Eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese.

Winds will blow from the northeast in the Northern Aegean at 5-6 points on the Beaufort scale, and high winds will blow from the north at 6-7 Beaufort in the rest of the Aegean. In the Ionian, weak, variable winds will blow in the morning, but will blow from the northwest come the afternoon at 4-5 Beaufort, and will weaken in the evening.

Clear skies are expected in Attica. Temperatures will range from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius, but the northern and eastern parts of region will be 3-4 degrees ccoler. Winds will blow from the north at 5-6 Beaufort, and at 7 Beaufort in the east.

Scattered clouds are expected in Thessaloniki. Temperatures will range from 24 to 37 degrees Celsius. Winds in the Thermaic Gulf will blow from the northwest at 3-4 Beaufort.
