Today’s weather in Greece is reminiscent of years’ past, as temperatures have finally dropped to their normal position for this time of year. Sunshine is expected throughout the country, with scattered clouds, locally denser at times, hovering over the mainland.
Temperatures will range from 10 to 30 degrees Celsius in western Macedonia, from 13 to 32 degrees in northern Greece, from 15 to 34-35 degrees in Thessaly, from 16 to 32 degrees in the Epirus region, from 18 to 33-34 degrees in the rest of the inland areas, from 18 to 31 degrees in the Ionian, and from 20 to 31-33 degrees in the Aegean and Crete.
Winds in the Aegean will blow from the north at 4-6 points on the Beaufort scale, and from the southeast in the northwestern Aegean at 3-5 Beaufort. In the Ionian Sea, winds will blow from the northwest at 4-5 Beaufort.
Athens will be sunny with a few scattered clouds. Winds will blow from the northeast at 3-5 Beaufort, while temperatures will range from 25 to 32-33 degrees Celsius.
Thessaloniki should expect few clouds. Southeastern winds will blow at up to 4 Beaufort and temperatures will range from 23 to 31 degrees Celsius.
