Thunderstorms are expected in the early morning hours in the Ionian Islands, Epirus, western Central Greece, western Peloponnese region, and Crete. The rest of the day will be cloudy with a good chance of rain in these areas. Similar phenomena are anticipated around the Aegean islands and the Dodecanese, while couds will hover over the rest of the country.
Winds will blow west-southwest at 4 to 6 points on the Beaufort scale, reaching 7 Beaufort in southern seas, and locally up to 8 Beaufort during the morning hours. Towards the afternoon, the northern regions will see north-northeast winds at 4 – 6 Beaufort.
Daily highs around the country are expected to rise. Temperatures will range from 0 to 16 degrees Celsius in the central and northern mainland, from 7 to 17 degrees in the rest of the mainland, and from 14 to 19 degrees Celsius in the islands.
