Today will be gloomier than the past few days, with clouds and local showers expected in the western part of the country, the northeastern Aegean, the Dodecanese, and and a bit later in the day in the Cyclades and Crete. Phenomena are expected to intensify in the afternoon, but will mostly be limited to the eastern island areas.
Scattered clouds will hover over the rest of the country, which will become denser in the central and south mainland come midday, leading to the potential showers.
Winds will blow south-southwest at 4 to 6 points on the Beaufort scale, reaching 7 Beaufort in the seas. From midday, in the west, they will turn west-northwest at 4 to 6 Beaufort, gradually weakening in the evening.
A slight decrease in temperatures is expected, despite remaining high for the season. Daily highs will reach 15 to 17 degrees Celsius in western and northern mainland areas, 18 to 19 degrees in the rest of the country, even reaching 20 degrees in some regions.
