A slight drop in temperature and strong north winds are expected today, reminding people across the country that winter is still here.
Showers are anticipated in the eastern mainland, Evia, the Attica region and Crete, while intense winds will blow at 6 to 7 points on the Beaufort scale mainly in Crete and the eastern mainland.
Attica started out cloudy and winds are expected to intensify. Local showers are also expected come midday in areas around Penteli and Parnitha. Daily high in the area will reach 17 degrees Celsius.
Similar phenomena are expected in Thessaloniki, with a chance of light rain during the day and a daily high of 15 degrees Celsius.
