Authorities found nearly 10,000 shotgun shells, three handguns, two rifles, a revolver, two active WWII-era grenades, four defused grenades and various flares

A shooting injury involving a 19-year-old man in an Ioannina has led to the discovery of an entire weapons and ammunition cache, along with the arrest of two local men, 50 and 51.

The teen sustained a serious head injury from a single gunshot and was transferred to a local hospital in the northwest city. A handgun was later confiscated in the apartment where the teen was shot, leading to a wider investigation.

When authorities searched the residence of a relative (the 50-year-old) of the injured man they found nearly 10,000 shotgun shells, three handguns, a repeat-action rifle, a single-shot rifle, a revolver, two active WWII-era grenades, four defused grenades and various flares and weapons paraphernalia.
