The bad weather continues as rain and thunderstorms are expected across much of Greece, sparing only parts of central and eastern Macedonia, Thrace, and the northeastern Aegean, which will experience calmer conditions.
In Athens, the day will begin with overcast skies and light rain. By evening, the rainfall is anticipated to intensify and become more widespread. Temperatures will range from 10–17°C, with northeasterly winds reaching up to 5 Beaufort.
Thessaloniki will see variable weather, with light rain in the western parts of the city, while eastern areas will remain drier. Temperatures are forecast between 9–12°C, with southeasterly winds also reaching up to 5 Beaufort.
Looking ahead
The unsettled weather will persist across most of the country on Friday. As the day progresses, rainfall and storms will begin to recede, concentrating over the eastern and southern islands by nighttime.
Similar conditions are expected on Saturday.
