The weather in Greece on Wednesday will be predominantly sunny across the country. Scattered clouds may form in the southern parts of Greece, while visibility will be low during the night and early morning.
Temperatures will range from 2 to 24 degrees Celsius in Western Macedonia, from 6 to 23-25 degrees in the rest of northern Greece, from 8 to 26-28 degrees in Thessaly and other mainland areas. In the Ionian islands temperatures are expected to range from 12 to 26 degrees, while low temps are is expected to be slightly higher in the Aegean and Crete at 13 degrees.
In the Aegean, winds will initially blow from the north at 3-5 Beaufort, gradually turning southeast in the northern Aegean with the same intensity. The Dodecanese will see northwest winds blowing at 5-6 Beaufort. In the Ionian, winds will blow from the southwest at up to 4 Beaufort, intensifying slightly as we go northwards.
Sunny weather is expected in Attica. Winds will initially be weak, but will shift to 3-4 Beaufort come the afternoon. Temperatures will range from 16 to 25-26 degrees Celcius.
A few scattered clouds are expected in Thessaloniki with northwest winds blowing at 3-4 Beaufort. Temperatures will range from 14 to 23-24 degrees.
However, clear skies and warm weather won’t last long, as meteorologists warn of a storm coming, which is set to hit Greece on Friday and carry throughout the weekend, mainly affecting the western and northern regions of the country, as well as the east Aegean.
