A sixteen year old boy was pulled from the water unconcious in the south Athens area of Alimos on Thursday evening, hours after he went missing.
The teen, from Egypt, went for a swim at Alimos marina on Thursday at 15:00 but didn’t come out of the water, according to reports at Skai Tv.
The search for the boy started from the land as soon as his relatives, who accompanied him, realized he was missing.
Local private divers and the coastguard were also called in to assist with searches for the boy.
The teen was located in the water in the evening and was reportedly unconscious and transferred to a local hospital.
