Due to scheduled heavy maintenance road work, traffic regulations will be implemented tonight affecting specific sections on the Athens Motorway (Attki Odos).
The entrance to the Athens Motorway (Attiki Odos) from Markopoulo (junction 20) towards Elefsina will remain closed from 10:00 pm on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, until 6:00 am on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
During this closure, motorists will be able to access the Athens International Airport via the next exit of junction K1 (signposted “Local Roads”), make a turnaround, and proceed towards the “Elefsina – Athens.” route
The entrance to the Athens Motorway from Koropi (junction 20) towards Elefsina will also remain closed from 10:00 pm on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, until 6:00 am on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
Drivers coming from Koropi can continue their journey towards the Airport via the next exit of junction K1 (signposted “Local Roads”), turn around, and proceed towards the “Elefsina – Athens” route.
