On Wednesday rainy weather in Greece is forecast for several regions. Specifically, rain and thunderstorms will occur in the morning in the Ionian, western Macedonia, Epirus, western Sterea, Thessaly, Evia, and the Sporades.
Stronger storms are expected until noon in the Ionian and eastern Thessaly, so make sure you pack both your umbrellas and galoshes.
In other regions, local rains are forecast for eastern Sterea and the Peloponnese, with cloudy skies in the rest of Macedonia, Thrace, and the Aegean. The phenomena will weaken from noon, and by the evening, they will have subsided significantly.
Temperatures will remain at similar levels, ranging from 25 to 28 degrees Celsius, with highs of up to 29 degrees in the southern Aegean.
Winds in the Ionian will be southerly at 3-5 Beaufort, turning to light northerlies by evening. In the Aegean, a mild northerly flow will prevail at 3-5 Beaufort, with winds reaching up to 6 Beaufort in the Dodecanese.
In Attica, initially, there will be scattered clouds, but these will temporarily thicken in the afternoon, bringing local showers mainly around the center, with a brief thunderstorm likely in the northern suburbs and the outskirts of the region.
The weather will improve quickly in the afternoon. Temperatures will range from 18 to 28 degrees, with northerly winds at 3-4 Beaufort.
The day will start with rain in Thessaloniki, but the weather will improve after noon. Temperatures will range from 17 to 25 degrees, with light northerly winds at 2-3 Beaufort.
