Greek police arrested a 56-year-old man in the district of Patisia, Athens, Sunday morning for allegedly sexually abusing a minor.
According to the police report, the suspect had been habitually raping the young daughter of his partner for 7 years.
Following the issuance of a search warrant by the Athens 1st Instance Court police officers raided the apartment of the alleged perpetrator and seized evidence related to the suspect’s crime including digital files and an air gun.
According to the police report, the alleged perpetrator used online apps to get possession of the pornographic material of the minor.
Apart from the allegations of sexual abuse, the suspect has also been accused of violating the law against “child pornography”.
