Friday will bring a mix of passing clouds and mostly clear skies across Greece, with some localized light rain in areas such as Halkidiki, the Sporades, and Evia. Slightly less frequent showers may occur in the eastern mainland, the Peloponnese, and the interior of Crete. For the rest of the mainland and the Ionian, morning clouds will gradually give way to sunny weather from midday onward. The Aegean islands will enjoy long periods of sunshine throughout the day.
Temperatures will dip slightly, reaching 10°C to 12°C in northern Greece, 13°C in Thessaly, and 16°C to 18°C in other mainland regions. In the Aegean, temperatures will range from 13°C in the northern parts to 18°C further south.
Winds in the Ionian will be easterly at 2–4 Beaufort, while in the Aegean, they will blow from the north at 4–6 Beaufort, strengthening to 6–7 Beaufort in the Dodecanese.
In Athens, expect alternating periods of sunshine and cloudiness throughout the day. Temperatures will range from 9°C to 16°C, with northerly winds at 3–4 Beaufort, briefly reaching 5 Beaufort in the afternoon.
In Thessaloniki, the weather will be mostly sunny, with clear skies dominating much of the day. Clouds and light rain will affect only the southern coastal parts of Halkidiki. Temperatures will range from 4°C to 12°C, with northerly winds in the Thermaic Gulf at 3–5 Beaufort.
