The parliamentary police officer arrested last week on charges of abusing and raping his wife and children, is set to be transferred to prison on Friday following his remain in the Psychiatric Military Hospital.

As reported, the 45-year-old officer is expected to be transferred to the Tripoli prison, where he will remain in custody pending trial. The case has drawn significant public attention as investigators continue to delve into the alleged incidents of abuse within the family home.

Meanwhile, police investigations continue to uncover additional evidence related to the incidents within the family home. Authorities are particularly seeking at least one mobile phone allegedly used by the officer which could provide further details useful to the investigation.

The Children of the Family in a State of Shock

The officer’s five minor children are reportedly in a state of shock after allegedly having endured years of abuse in what is described as a “horror house”.

On Thursday, the two eldest siblings attempted to escape from the children’s hospital where they are being sheltered, only to be stopped by a guard at the last moment.

Authorities also reported that later all four children tried to flee, with even the 2-year-old allegedly attempting to exit through a window. The children exhibit extreme nervousness and display erratic, impulsive behaviors.

Police officers who took the children’s testimonies described their emotional state as one of “provocative emotional detachment.” The investigation suggests that other individuals may also be implicated, with the children pointing to additional persons involved.

One of the family’s daughters reported that her father would hit her in front of her grandfather, adding that “grandpa knows.”
