One man was fatally in the neck and another was shot in the stomach during an altercation outside a nightclub in northern Athens (Maroussi) in the early morning hours of Sunday.
According to police, two groups of club-goers clashed outside the venue for as yet unknown reasons.
The victim was identified as a 23-year-old who rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital but arrived DOA.
Another man, 26, sustained a gunshot wound to the abdominal area, with police examining whether he shot himself with a small caliber pistol. The latter was located in a flower pot near the scene.
The other circumstances surrounding the incident remain sketchy.
