A slew of videos shared online doxxing (the practice of sharing personal details online) personal information of one of the teenage girls reportedly implicated in a brutal beating of a 14-year-old girl in the suburb of Glyfada, located in the Athens Riviera last week, one of her peers last week, have prompted the intervention of the Cyber Crime Division.

According to reports, the officers of the Cyber Crime Unit are set to launch an investigation to identify users who have posted videos online that appear to be threatening and inciting violence while posting personal information of other users, such as names, home addresses, and more.

The toxic situation appears to be spiraling out of control, with tens of videos circulating on the social media platform TikTok in which students are doxxing the personal details of the three girls who ambushed the 14-year-old victim.

The users circulating the videos of the minors have uploaded photos of the 14-year-olds, their full names, mobile phone numbers, and even maps with their addresses, aiming for those seeking revenge to locate them.

In addition, some students are arranging meetups via social media for this morning outside one of the girls’ schools, threatening to “settle the score” following the beating of the 14-year-old.

The number of threatening and revenge videos started escalating after one of the three 14-year-old girls, who viciously attacked her peer, posted a video on her TikTok account glorifying the attack while dancing to a rap song with violent lyrics.

Meanwhile, audio recordings, which the minors involved in the brutal beating of their peer allegedly exchanged through a group chat, only fueled the public outcry. One of the girls appears unrepentant, leveling threats of a new attack against the victim.
